Immortality, A Million Dead Sparrows is a body of work created as part of a research project undertaken whilst studying at the Royal College of Art. Taking inspiration from the short story, Immortality, by Yiyun Li, the project was an exercise in adaptation and interpretation. Central themes from the original text (identity, doppelgänger, communism and heritage) informed a series of visual materials and graphic interventions including a publication, prints and a gallery of identikit portraits. FULL CASE STUDY COMING SOON.
